Circus Fun!

In August I have the opportunity to do some art and craft workshops with a group of kids in the library where I work. Because I am super busy in July I'm getting the work done now so that it's not a rush. These are pictures of the pop up card circus scene I'm going to get them to colour in and make their own circus scene. Lemme know what you think! :)

This is the pop up base, took a stupid amount of time for to figure it out, paper engineering isn't my strong point! ^_^

And heres the final product! All coloured and fancy! My work colleges seemed to like it so thats alright! What do you think?

Few More Card designs......

Following on from the card i made for my better half for passing his degree with a first class honours i made him this card. Later, my aunty asked me to make my cousin a card for his graduation, personalised so that he is wearing his university football kit:

And after this, a college of mine at work asked me to make her a card for a friend of hers birthday: he reports on speedway racing, so thats the theme she asked me to go with :)

All the splatters were fun :)

Dads Day

Just a quick dads day card design for my Pa. Hope you like!

Because i want to prove i have been doing things.....

It feels like forever since i did a drawing or a painting and even longer since i posted something. All i seem to be doing lately is going to work or job hunting and its rubbish. None of the jobs are art related and very few i would actually be happy to do for a living. Ah well! Such is life at the moment. So heres some card designs i've come up with, i want to do more in the series and hopefully include these characters in my Christmas range. Please let me know what you think, i'd really like your feedback.

 Mum card, i dont think i'd have type on this one and the last one is a general card for all parents i think really :) The font isn't right but it'll do for now, its the design i'm more concerned about :)
